The webstore is dedicated to the deaf and hard of hearing and it not only has great products, but it is very dynamic and loaded with interesting and extremely useful information. It's a website that a person can go to when they need hearing loss products and/or related information.

All products are practical items that can be used by the deaf and hard of hearing. Many of the items, such as bed shaking alarm clocks and bed shaking smoke alarms, can be used by those with normal hearing.

The store is owned by a husband and wife team, Stan and Linda Straub, that have used or are using many of the items that they carry. If they don't feel a product is well-made, practical, and reliable they won't sell it in their store. They believe that being deaf or hard of hearing is not a handicap, but just another lifestyle. Their slogan is "Helping People Help Themselves".

The Straub's started their online store in August 2011 and have been in the process of continuously upgrading it. They've added many new features and products. Each week or month they select one product to put on special sale. For the month of April, they have a hearing loop system on sale, at a special low price.

To go along with their philosophy of wanting to help people, they decided to do an April fundraiser to help a family whose home and property was damaged by flood water in January of this year. They are giving 20% of net profits for products sold in April from their store and eBay to the family. It's something they wanted to do to give back to the community.
