The first of eight 3-story buildings at the Arista Uptown Apartments in Broomfield, Colo., designed by KTGY, has been completed.
DENVER, COLO. - KTGY Group, Inc., Architecture + Planning, announces that the first of eight 3-story buildings at the Arista Uptown Apartments in Broomfield, Colo., has been completed. Designed by KTGY and developed Smith/Jones Partners LLC, a Denver-based apartment development and investment company, Arista Uptown Apartments is an exciting transit-oriented apartment community designed to fit seamlessly into the pedestrian-friendly, mixed-use nature of the Arista neighborhood and further enhance Arista’s already unique living experience. The City of Broomfield is situated equidistant between Denver and Boulder.
Located on 6.68 acres at the corner of Arista Place and Uptown Avenue in the heart of Arista, just west of the aloft Hotel and south of the Children's Hospital Colorado's therapy clinic, Arista Uptown Apartments offers residents a modern blend of urban living centered on a vibrant mixed-use, entertainment-anchored lifestyle with convenient access to public transit, walkable retail, 1stBank Center, an aloft Hotel, multiple parks, office and proximity to the Boulder Turnpike's employment centers.
The well-appointed, three-story walk-up apartments feature tuck-under garages and beautiful contemporary finishes, accented by balconies and terraces to enjoy the surrounding views of the mountain peaks. There are 272 units in the Arista Uptown Apartment community, 18 studios, 149 one-bedroom and 105 two-bedroom designs located within walking distance to rapid transit and future rail. Arista Uptown Apartments' community amenities include a 4,442-square-foot ground-floor community clubhouse and fitness center with an indoor-outdoor lounge, plus an 11,000-square-foot courtyard with an outdoor resort-style pool and spa, barbecue grills and a 1.5-acre private lawn that includes a 1,900-square-foot "Central Dog Park," an off-leash dog area.
"Within the 'live, work, play, shop and dine' environment of the very contemporary Arista Uptown, the innovative new rental apartment homes, designed by KTGY, will fulfill Gen Y demand with smaller unit designs amplified by 10' ceilings and 7' by 8' view-capturing windows," said KTGY's Principal Michael Ohara, AIA and the designer of Arista Uptown Apartments.
"Arista Uptown caters to young singles, couples and roommates who commute to work or school and prefer an urban, hotel-style environment. An enriched amenities package adds to KTGY's dynamic, trend-targeted design," added Ohara. "Arista Uptown Apartment community will help meet the growing apartment demand in Arista and along the busy U.S. 36 corridor."
Pre-leasing is expected to begin within the next month and the first units are slated to open mid-summer 2012.
